We are sad to say that our beloved Riley past away today. He will be missed by everyone in our family, but especially Trace. He was a great loyal and loving member of our family. The kids and I were talking the other day about athletes retiring their numbers, so at Taylor's suggestion we are retiring the name Riley because there will never be another dog like him!

So sorry to hear about Riley. I think its sweet that Taylor wants to retire the name. It must be hard to lose him, he's like a member of the family. I hope the kids are doing ok with it. love you!
Just heard about Riley, so sorry! I always thought when he came out in the morning with the kids going to school that he looked like he had a smile on his face. There is no better friend than a good dog. I've got one up in heaven that I sure hope to see when its my time to go.
My kids have lost a neighborhood 'pal' in Riley. We will miss Riley laying under our slide this summer. For some reason our shade was more attractive than yours! I'm sure your kids are having a hard time right now. My most painful memories as a child are when I lost a beloved pet. Riley is in a better place and will be excited to see them again someday.
