+ 1 bird

We have added to our pet cemetary today. Sometime during the night Ringo, our love bird, died. We are not sure why. We take comfort in knowing that he is not alone. He is in the company of countless fish, a handful of hermit crabs, an iguana, a bearded dragon, a frog, and one very good dog. His chirping will be immortalized on our answering machine...until I redo the message.

I am so sorry to hear this. You sound so upset! I am sure you will want to quickly fill the void this leaves in your life.
Love you

So sad! It really is funny how a silly little bird can become a family member and then tear at your heart when it passes on. We still talk about our quaker parrot Zoey and our african gray Max. Those annoying little buggers making all that noise all the time can surely be missed! Their noise becomes apart of your home (or part of your answering machine message), and a part of you! So sorry to hear of your lose. If it would make you feel better, we have a dog that you can have! He looks good in red ... tried and tested!
